    • Carl Sandburg Middle School was dedicated on November 2, 1959.
    • The campus of Carl Sandburg Junior High School stretches across a 44-acre tract at Harmony and Hay Roads, Levittown, Pennsylvania. 
    • Construction of the school was started in February 1957, and initial occupancy took place December 1958. 
    • The Middletown Township School District accepted the completed building on October 15, 1959. 
    • There were 850 students enrolled when the school opened.
