I started in Neshaminy School District in 1973 as a Kindergarten student at Pearl Buck Elementary School (back row second from the left).
I earned my Bachelors degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Misericordia University in 1990, and returned to Pearl Buck as a sixth grade teacher. When the sixth graders moved to the middle schools, I followed along and taught sixth grade Science and Math at Sandburg Middle School for 13 years. During my time at Sandburg, I attended night school at Holy Family University and earned my Masters degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Reading. I moved to Neshaminy Middle and taught sixth grade Science for 2 years until the school closed in June 2008. Then I requested to return to the first school I had known as a student and as a teacher, Pearl Buck Elementary, and was thrilled to find a home on the third grade team.
My life is all about kids: the ones in my classroom, and the ones in my family. I am also blessed with a husband who loves our hectic household as much as I do.
