Hi! My name is Daisy Van Ness and I will be your child's Kindergarten teacher this year! I am so excited to meet you and your child. It is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. As I get to know you and your child, I thought you might like to know a little bit about me. I grew up not too far away, in Doylestown,PA. I graduated from James Madison University with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.This will be my 9th year teaching. I began my teaching career at First Philadelphia Charter School, located in the Frankford/Tacony section of Philadelphia. I taught Kindergarten for 6 years while at First Philly. Last year was my first year at Pearl Buck, and I was lucky enough to be on the first grade team. Although, I loved teaching first, I am thrilled to be back in Kindergarten. I look forward to a great year together :)
