Hello Second Grade Families!

I am so excited to start the school year with your child in my class. Second grade is so exciting because of all the leaps and bounds you will see your child reach for and achieve! This year your child's reading will blossom, their math skills will soar, and their curiosity and joy for learning will be embraced. The best part - this is just the beginning! 

I cannot wait to get to know all my students more and I thought I would share a little bit about myself. I graduated from West Chester University with dual degree/teaching certificates in Elementary(EGP) Education Grades K-4^th and Special Education K-8. I am a Neshaminy alum and am thrilled to be back at Pearl Buck where I attended as a student! I have been teaching at Pearl Buck since 2018 with four years in first grade before moving to being a second grade teacher. My favorite thing about teaching is to see just how much students gain and learn in one year. From their confidence to their math skills, I feel blessed to witness and foster the magic that happens in the classroom daily. In my free time, I instruct dance for the Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts. I love traveling and finding new recipes to try at home for dinner.
