Welcome to Second Grade!

     My name is Mrs. Jennifer Abell, and I'd like to let you know a little about me.  I have an Elementary K-6 certificate from Alvernia University, but I am also certified to teach Middle School Science and Math.  In addition, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Philadelphia University.

     This is my sixth year at Pearl Buck!  I previously taught second grade for seven years at Conrad Weiser East in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.  Also, I have experience teaching first grade, English as a Second Language and Title I reading.  These positions have effectively prepared me to teach your child.

     I have five children.  My youngest attends Bucks County Technical High School.  The others have graduated from college.  Two of my children are married, and I have one granddaughter!  I like to read, cook and bake. As you may guess, I love giraffes!
