Important  Info for May 18th
Attention ALL 8th grade softball players, there have been two changes to your schedule.  The game scheduled for Wednesday against Boehm is now Monday, May 21st at Charles Boehm and we have a make-up game against Neil Armstrong at home on Tuesday, May 22nd.  There will be no practice today but remember your stuff and to check in on Monday morning.
 
Students eligible for their boating license should see Mr. Bogart anytime on Monday.
 
Floor crew please meet Mr. Bogart in the gym after Friday mornings announcements.
 
  MUSIC STUDENTS: Those of you going on the trip to Great Adventure on Friday,
May 18th, please report to school at 6:45 am at the auditorium doors. 
  
 Any student using the boys or girls locker room for afternoon sports must put a lock on your locker!!!!

 Important High School Information for 8th Graders
High School Swimming
For any 8th graders interested in joining the high school swim team next year,  representatives from the high school team will be joining PE classes in the next week to provide information on proparatory activities and to answer questions regarding swimming.  The girls' team is especially in need of recruits.  No need to be a good swimmer to join, so please, any and all interest or questions are highly encouraged!!!

 Attention Sandburg Field Day Blue and Red teams.....
The PE Department will be collecting food donations for the Bucks County Food Pantry again this year.  We will award each team one point for each pound of food you bring in.   
 
After 2 weeks of the 2nd annual Field Day Food Drivem the Blue team has increased it's lead.  C'mon Red...you can do it!! The point totals are as follows...
Blue - 159
 
Red - 91 
 
Remember to drop off all nonperishable food items in the bins located in the girl's gym hallway before homeroom.
 
Each team will get 1 point per pound!!
 
We have already TOPPED last year's total so every donation given is setting a new record!
 
Sandburg DOES make a difference!!!!

  • Reading Olympics:
    There will be an ice cream social during all three lunches this Thursday, May 17th for students who were involved in Reading Olympics this year.  This will be your last chance to get in touch with your teammates again and talk about next year.  Please get a lunch pass from Mrs. Murray this week.

  • Neshaminy High School Color Guard:
    Looking for something exciting and different to do next year?  The Neshaminy High School Color Guard is seeking new members for the 2012-2013 season.  As a member, you will perform with the award winning Neshaminy High School Redskin Marching Band.  The Color Guard is the visual ensemble of the marching band, using flags, rifles, sabers, dance and props to interpret The musical presentation.  No previous experience is necessary as all skills required will be taught during the clinic sessions.  Clinic Sessions will be held May 1, 9, 17, 30 and June 4 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Students should meet at the high school auditorium lobby.  Come out to see what Guard is all about.  Contact Mr. Lipton at the high school with questions or for more information.
