 News of the Day

Does your child need extra help?? All teachers are available before school every Tuesday from 7:15-7:45 in their classrooms. No advanced sign up needed! We also offer homework help after school Monday-Thursday until 4:00 PM! It's a quiet place to get homework completed and assistance if needed! Email teachers for additional information! 

 There is NO weight training this week. 
 It's that time of the year again - Reading Olympics!  Anyone interested in joining the teams this year, we will be having our first meeting today, Thursday, October 2nd, during each grade levels lunch period in the library.  Hope to see you there! 

Attention anyone interested in being a part of this year’s Yearbook Staff:  we will be having an informational meeting during homeroom tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd in the library.  Please check in with your homeroom teacher before you come down.

The first Student Council meeting will be tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd, during 7th period in E-10.  All students who submitted applications were accepted.  Stop by E-10 TODAY to pick up your Student Council Pass. 
Attention ALL band students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade: The first evening concert band rehearsal will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 2nd,  from 6:30-8:15pm in the auditorium. All band members must attend! It’s Super Hero Night! Please dress in a super hero outfit for prizes! Please see Mr. Weiner if you have any questions. 

Attention all band, chorus and orchestra students: The Hershey Candy fundraiser for our Dorney Park Music Trip. If you would like to sell candy, please stop by Mr. Weiner’s room and pick up a fundraising form.     Band Lessons: 

    The lesson groups for Thursday are:

    Period 1:  Trumpet Green

    Period 2:   Trumpet Yellow

    Period 3: Make-Ups Red

    Period 6: Trumpet Red

    Period 7:  Trumpet Blue

    The lesson groups for Friday are:

    Period 1:  Percussion Green

    Period 2:  Percussion Yellow

    Period 3:  Make Ups Blue

    Period 6:  Percussion Red

    Period 7:  Percussion Blue

    Select choir is on Mondays from 6-7:30pm UNTIL November 3rd. Then it goes back to after school on Mondays. 

    Attention all orchestra students-
    Copies of the Sandburg Orchestra Lesson Schedule are ready to be picked up outside of the band room.  Orchestra students please pick up your copy today and if you have any questions let Mr. Weiner know. 
    Orchestra lessons begin tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd.  Remember to bring your instrument to school and check the schedule below so you know when your lesson is.  Confused about what group you are in? Check out the orchestra lesson schedule on the music stand outside of the band room door.
