PSSA / Keystone Test Dates
The annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessments (PSSA) and Keystone tests will be administered in April and May. Below is assessment information and dates for 2024. Additional information for students and parents about the tests will be shared in the weeks before the test dates.

Here Comes the Bus App
The free Here Comes the Bus app is now available for the entire District. You can track your student's bus using up-to-the-minute GPS data using the app, which is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It can also be accessed on the web here.

Student Accident Insurance
Neshaminy does not carry medical insurance for students, but we are pleased to offer an optional low-cost group plan for those families that desire extra coverage. Click here for more information about this plan and how to register.

1:1 Technology Information
NEW students coming to Neshaminy and Kindergarten students will receive a new Chromebook device. There is no technology fee. SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS
SOFTBALL
Attention Ladies! Softball tryouts will begin on Monday, March 18th on the softball field. Coach Brown and Coach Smicherko are looking forward to a great season. If you would like to try-out and you are in 7th or 8th grade, please stop by room 116 or 218 to sign up and pick up some paperwork. Remember that you must have a PIAA physical exam completed before trying out. Again, tryouts will begin Monday, March 18th. For try-outs you will need a glove - and cleats would be recommended. See Coach Brown or Coach Smicherko if you have any questions.
BASEBALL
Attention, all 7th and 8th grade boys looking to try out for the Poquessing Baseball team - try-outs will begin on Monday, March 18th after school from 3PM to 5PM. You MUST have a PIAA physical form in to Coach Norton, Coach Palkovics or Mr. Salmi prior to try-outs in order to try out. Be ready to play with a baseball glove, cleats, and a baseball cap. If you need any more info, please contact Coach Norton in room 215, or Coach Palkovics in room 117. See you on the 18th!
TRACK AND FIELD
Attention 7th and 8th grade athletes: there is an informational meeting for Track and Field on Thursday, March 6th during WIN in the gymnasium! Please bring your Chromebooks! This is how you will sign in and receive more information about the upcoming season! If you have any questions in the meantime, please stop by and see Coach D'Agostino in room 102.

ATHLETICS: Sports Physicals
Seventh(7th) and eighth(8th) grade students are permitted to tryout for sports(fall, winter and spring). ALL althletes MUST have a current physical BEFORE he/she may tryout! Complete the entire form below. The physical must be dated no earlier than June 1, 2023. The physician completes page 6.

ATHLETICS: FAMILYID
Poquessing Middle School is now using FamilyID as our sports registraton program! When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. Please follow the instructions below to register your student athlete. Please have your athlete hand the original physical to their Coach or Mr. Salmi. We will NOT accept an email version.
You must log into FamilyID and fill out appropriate sections to be able to participate in a sport. Each sport season it must be updated with the new sport your athlete is playing.
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
A parent/guardian should register by clicking on this link:

Follow these steps:
- To find your program, click on the link provided by the Organization above and select the registration form under the word Programs.
- Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll, if necessary, to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. If this is your first time using FamilyID, click Create Account. Click Log In, if you already have a FamilyID account.
- Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
- You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
- Click on the link in your activation E-mail, which will log you in to FamilyID.com
- Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
- Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
- Review your registration summary.

POQUESSING FOOD PANTRY
The Poquessing Food Pantry is currently open and accepting donations. Gift Cards are the most useful. Increments should be $25 or less. The following physical items are always appreciated: peanut butter, jelly, snack/breakfast bars, pasta, pasta sauce, soups, pancacke mix, pancake syrup, rice, macaroni and cheese, ketchup/mustard, fruit cups/cans, apple sauce, breakfast cereals, snack items, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, dental floss and mouth wash. Families in need of supplemental assistance may reach out to Mr. Hunt directly at THunt@neshaminy.org. All requests are strictly confidential.
