  SPIRIT DAY IS TODAY, Friday, 2/27, WEAR YOUR RED AND BLUE.  Neshaminy High School has SPIRIT, yes they do! Carl Sandburg has SPIRIT… how ‘bout you?! Gym Night SPIRIT is in the air, It is time to get out your Neshaminy SPIRITwear! Whether you wear red or blue-That is totally up to you!

THEME: "MADE IN AMERICA" 

As of 2/26, we only have 17 responses from parents intending to chaperone our 6 Flags trip.  In order for our trip to be successful we need about 60 chaperones.  Students, please remind your parents that if they intend on going to 6 Flags, they must sign the blue form and return it as soon as possible.

 
 
Carl Sandburg will be collecting money from 2/23/15 to 3/13/15 to help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Pasta for Pennies.   Click here for the flyer.
 
 
There will be basketball with Mr. Durante on Friday, 2/27/15.
There will NOT be basketball with Mr. Durante on Saturday, 2/28/15, from 9am to 11am.

Homework Help Information:
 

 There will be no homework help after school with Mrs. Michaud on Thursday, 2/26/15.

 
 All teachers are available before school every Tuesday from 7:15-7:45 in their classrooms. We also offer homework help after school Monday-Thursday until 4:00 PM! United Way of Bucks County Food Drive - Operation Helping Hand - Click here for flyer - Operation Helping Hand will be taking place the week of March 2-6.  NJHS members will be around to homerooms to collect items every day.

 I am sorry to say -  the ski trip has been cancelled.  Money will be returned to the students.
 
 

Sport Team Information:

 Cheer is cancelled for today, 2/27.  Be ready and prepared to practice on Monday, 3/2.  

 
On Tuesday night, 3/3,, the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams will compete in a double header at Maple Point Middle School to help raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer and The American Cancer Society.  7th grade will play at 6:00 and the 8th grade team will play at 7:00.  Spectators will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets, 50/50s, food, and beverages.  Only $5 for adults and $3 for students.  Come on out to an exciting night of basketball and activities and help raise money for a great cause and cheer on your Sandburg teams.

The winners of our box top contest are - 3rd place, Mr. Thompson's homeroom, 2nd place - Mrs. Romberger's homeroom and the 1st place winner is Mr. Foley's homeroom!  Miss Alberts homeroom rocked the collection as well!  The winners will be receiving a treat in homeroom one day next week!
