    • Applications for the Al Durante Service Award are now available from the PE Department.  If you perform community service and are active in school service, please consider applying for the award!  All applications are due by May 10 at 2:45.  Don’t miss the deadline!!
    • 8th Grade Move Up Day will be on June 13th, 2017, at 9:00 AM.
    • Looking for something exciting and different to do next year? The Neshaminy High School Color Guard is seeking incoming freshman for the 2017-18 season.  As a member, you will perform with the award winning Neshaminy High School Marching Band. The Color Guard is the visual ensemble of the marching band, using flags, rifles, sabers, dance and props to interpret the musical presentation. No previous experience is necessary as all skills required will be taught during the clinic sessions.  Clinic sessions will be held April 26, May 3, 15, 19 and June 2 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM in Gym 1 at the high school.  Come out to see what Guard is all about.  Contact Mr. Lipton at the high school with questions or for more information.

    The annual Sandburg Art Show will be held the night of the Instrumental Spring Concert on Thursday, May 11th.   Start time is 6 pm followed by the concert which begins at 7 pm.

    Attention debate team members:  We will be meeting on Monday, 4/24, AND Tuesday, 4/25, next week.  Make sure you attend both meetings!

    • On Friday, April 28th, we have a mandatory AFTER school orchestra rehearsal for the spring concert.  ALL orchestra students need to be in the auditorium by 3PM for our afterschool rehearsal that runs from 3-5PM THIS Friday, April 28th.

  • PTO Information

    • The school year is almost over but we have a few more upcoming PTO events.
    • Our newest fundraiser is Uncle Jerry's Tees. This is something new and different. Packets will be going home in the next few days. There are t-shirts, beach towels and blankets as well as candles, kitchen gadgets etc. We will have samples at school on display. The fundraiser will run till May 5th.
    • You can send in your order with your student to school or Uncle Jerry's Tees has online ordering. You may place your order online by logging onto, click on shop now and enter code 1074 and add the students name to receive credit.
    • We will have prizes -Top seller overall -Top classroom  (top selling classroom, each student will win a  small prize) -Teacher of top selling classroom -1 random seller will win a prize as well (anyone who sells as little as one 1 item will be put in a drawing to win a prize)
    • Also, we will have our final "No Cook" night on May 11 at Margaritas.

  • Sports Information

    • The home track meet against Charles Boehm and the home 7th grade baseball game against Richboro MS today, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 are canceled.  Track, JV and Varsity softball and JV and Varsity baseball will NOT have practice after pictures today. 
    • Pictures will still be at 2pm in the gym.  All spring sports many come down at 2pm.
    • Congrats to the varsity softball team for bringing in 2 'w's' to start of their season. Great job girls, keep it up!!    JV and varsity softball players will be dismissed at 2 pm for team pictures.  Be ready by 2:15 for pictures.

  • Student Council

    • Attention Students!  The Student Council Dodgeball Tournament is JUST around the corner.  We are pleased to partner with the NJHS as we host the tournament this year.  The FIRST tournament is for 7th and 8th Grade students ONLY and is on Friday, May 5th in the Sandburg Gym.  Form your teams of up to 6 players but each team MUST be from the SAME grade level.  Team Captains – pick up a team form from the Student Council bulletin board in the main hall or room E-10.  Every player MUST have a completed and signed permission slip.  Team Captains – return your competed Team Forms to Mr. Simons in E-10.  Any questions, see a Student Council Representative, member of NJHS, or Mr. Simons.

    Mark your calendar for Thursday April 27 for the second annual Neshaminy Health Fair, held at Joseph Ferderbar Elementary School April 27, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, 300 Heights Lane in Feasterville. More information can be found here.

  • The Wizards are coming to Neshaminy!

     The Harlem Wizards will be facing our own 'Neshaminy Dream Team' coached by Skip Mason Saturday April 29, 7pm at Neshaminy High School. The Wizards will delight the crowd with their high-energy basketball antics and skill. This is a benefit for the Neshaminy Eduction Foundation and tickets are only $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
