Click here to read a letter from Acting Superintendent David E. Baugh welcoming students back for the 2015-2016 school year.
At the beginning of each school year, certain procedures and logistics can take longer as new routines are learned by both staff and students. Specifically, parents should anticipate that afternoon buses may arrive later than expected for the first week or so of school as boarding routines and bus routes are learned.
To assist with this process, parents should communicate with their child’s teacher any changes to dismissal routines. Also, I would like to ask for all kindergarten students to wear their transportation badge for the next two weeks of school, with a similar badge placed on the child’s book bag. This helps all staff, including our bus drivers, to ensure students arrive home safely and as timely as possible.
1st and 2nd Grade will have lunch beginning at 12:35
3rd and 4th garde will have lunch beginning at 1:10.
Recess will occur 30 minutes before the lunch period for each grade. The school will provide hand sanitizer for students as they enter the cafeteria. However, please consider providing your child with a wet wipe for their hands.
Kindergarten and New Student Orientation will occur on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 5 PM-6 PM. An Open House for all new and returning families will occur 6PM-7 PM .
