NHS MiniTHON raises $16,145 #FTK
The Neshaminy MiniTHON, a local version of the wildly popular Penn State dance marathon, raised $16,165.84 to benefit the Four Diamonds Foundation on Saturday May 6. The foundation supports research to fight pediatric cancer.
The MiniTHON featured dancing, games and other activities from 11 am to 5 pm in Gym 3 at Neshaminy HS. The total amount raised was revealed at the conclusion of the afternoon.Two families affected by cancer spoke, the family of Benjamin Pervis, a cancer survivor, and the family of Mason Chandler Allen, a Carl Sandburg Middle School student who recently lost a battle with cancer.
