Absence Reporting Made Easy!
School Messenger is the system that Neshaminy uses to send mass email, text and phone alerts. SafeArrival is an application that is part of the SchoolMessenger platform which is designed to simplify absence reporting and help ensure student safety.
You can report your child’s absence 24/7 using any of the three easy options below. When you report an absence through SafeArrival, it automatically updates our attendance system—there is no need to call the school directly.
Option 1: Call the Toll-Free Number

How to use it:
- Call from a phone number listed on your child’s student record.
- Follow the voice prompts to:
- Identify your child
- Choose the absence date
- Provide the reason (illness, appointment, etc.)
- Indicate full-day or partial-day absence
- Confirm and hang up.
Option 2: Use the website
How to use it:
- Click “Sign Up” if you don’t already have an account (use your email on file with the school).
- Log in and select “Report an Absence.”
- Enter the required details and submit.
- This method works on any browser, no download required!
Option 3: Use the Mobile App
How to use it:
Download the free SchoolMessenger App:
Once installed:
- Log in using the email address you gave the school.
- Tap “Attendance” and then “Report an Absence.”
- Follow the prompts and submit.
- You can also manage how you receive messages (call, email, text) right in the app.
PLEASE NOTE:
- When you create an account to report an absence, you must use the email address or phone number on file with Neshaminy School District. You can verify or modify your contact information by logging into Home Access Center.
- Absences should be reported before the start of the school day to avoid an automated notification informing you of the absence. Absences can be reported up to 11:45 pm on the day of the absence.
