6th grade team gets Public Library cards

In February 2017, one of the sixth grade teams at Maple Point invited representatives from the Bucks Count Public Library (Langhorne branch) for a visit to talk about the many services they offer (tutoring - apps - homework help - research - and yes, books) both in-person and online. They then helped each student obtain a library card, or updated the cards they already had.

The purpose of the presentation was not only to ensure that each student has a valid card, but to inform them of many resources available at public libraries they may not have been aware of, such as the availability of online apps, movies and games; online and in-person homework assistance; research help, and much more. The students were able to access some of the educational online resources from their school iPads.
