Welcome to Neshaminy School District Central Registration!


Online Registration for Kindergarten and New 1st Grade begins January 4, 2016.

To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2016.

To be eligible for first grade, children must be six (6) years of age on or before September 1, 2016.

Online Registration for Grades 2 through 12 begins April 1, 2016.



All registrations are by appointment only

  • Prior to an appointment being scheduled please REGISTER ONLINE by completing an online application.
  • Once you have submitted the application you will need to follow the procedures below. We will contact you within 3-5 business days to schedule an appointment.

Registration and Admission Procedures

Required Documents: The following items are required by law for admission to Neshaminy School District. Acceptable documentation for each item is listed below.

 

1.     Proof of Child's Age   
REQUIRED at time of registration
                    Birth Certificate
                  Baptismal Certificate
                  Valid Passport
 

2.     Parent/Guardian Valid Photo ID  REQUIRED at time of registration

 

3.     Immunizations  REQUIRED at time of registration
            Current Immunization Record        
 
Parents are required to bring a completed Health History/Student Screening form at the time of registration. All new students are also required to have a completed Physical Examination form. In addition a Dental Examination form is required to be completed for all students entering Kindergarten, 3rd Grade and 7th Grade.

 

4.     Two (2) Proofs of Residency   REQUIRED at time of registration
  •        Property Deed, Current Real Estate Tax Bill or Current Rental Lease ( Lease must list all children living at residence)
  •        PLUS One Current Bill for utility services that are connected to the residence by pipeline, wire or cable (i.e. water, gas, electric, land phone and cable TV are acceptable, whereas credit card, insurance, and wireless  phone bills are NOT accepted )


Census Form is required to be completed for each registering family.
 
(Note: All documentation must be current and in the name of parent/guardian registering the child)
 
 

5.     Parent Registration Statement (Act 26) and Record Release Request  Provided at registration appointment
 
 
 
Please provide a recent report card or unofficial transcript copy for students entering grades 5 through 12 at the time of registration.
 
Please provide a copy of Student's IEP, ER, and NOREP if student is Special Ed at the time of registration. 

Additional forms that cannot be provided online will be made available at the time of registration.

  • Although we prefer parents use our Online Registration process we understand that does not always work for everyone. 
  • You will still need to gather the required documentation above as well as print out the paper registration and complete all forms. Once completed please call for an appointment at 215-809-6547 (Please leave a message and your call will be returned within 1 to 2 business days).

  Non-Resident Students 


 
Non-resident students are those where parents or guardians do not reside in the school district. Non-resident students are those who have not taken residency in the school district at the time of registration or are students living with a relative, friend, or guardian who is a resident of the school district and has accepted formal guardianship of the student.  A non-resident student is also a school age student residing within a residential rehabilitative group home within the district, a residential Approved Private School within the District, or a school age student placed in a DPW Day Treatment Facility.
 
Non-resident students shall be registered at the Pupil Services Office.  The Board reserves the right to verify the residency of any student and to require a sworn statement of residential support for the student who resides with a person other than his/her parent, guardian, custodian, or CEO of group home/ Residential APS/ DPW Day Treatment Facility.
 
 
In cases of multiple occupancy, a Multiple Occupancy Affidavit with a notarized seal must be completed by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child and the Neshaminy School District property owner, and submitted to Pupil Services in order to complete registration. Parents who falsify information on the Multiple Occupancy Affidavit who fail to meet notification requirements may be held liable by the district for reimbursement of tuition and costs.
 
The school district shall accept pupils from other areas who make their full-time home in the Neshaminy School District without his/her parent(s)/ legal guardian(s). Before a child is accepted,  the person(s) with whom such a child is residing shall file with Pupil Services a sworn statement, 1302 Affidavit of Support, that they are residents of the district, verification that they are supporting the child gratis, that they will assume all personal obligations and responsibilities for the academic achievement and good standing of the child, and that they intend to so keep and support the child continuously and not merely through the school term. The resident must also show cause why the student cannot live with his parents or guardian.
