The primary goal of Sandburg's Family & Consumer Science Department is to prepare our students, your children, to live happy, healthy, independent lives.  We enrich the concepts and skills taught in the core subject areas by integrating and applying this knowledge to practical, real-life experiences.  We have an active curriculum that will not only be exciting and fun, but also offers a wide variety of skills that will stay with our students for a lifetime.
