How to Obtain a Position

Certified Staff:
 
Paper applications for certified staff are no longer  being accepted.  Applications are being accepted online at: Pennsylvania Regional Application Center  (REAP)
 
Support Staff:  
Applications are accepted for posted positions.  All applicants must fill out an Application for Posted Position, and have a Support Application on file.  
 
Applications must be received in Human Resources no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day indicated on the posting. 
 
 
Daily Substitutes:
 
Teachers:
Any one interested in substituting as a teacher or other certied staff must have competed the PA REAP application. 
 
Support Area:
Substitutes are needed for the following positions:
Instructional Assistants
Aides
Clerical
Bus Drivers
Cleaners
Custodians
Shipper/ Receiver
Food Service Workers

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING CURRENT INFORMATION:
 
1.  Background checks.  
    • print out a paper application   sEND COMPLETED FORM, ALONG WITH  A MONEY ORDER (MADE PAYABLE TO department of welfare) IN THE AMOUNT OF $10.00, TO THE ADDRESS INDICATED ON THE FORM.         
  • State Police Criminal Record Check
    The STate Police criminal record may be obtained in two ways:  
    • print out a paper application   sEND COMPLETED FORM, ALONG WITH  A MONEY ORDER (MADE PAYABLE TO  cOMMONWEALTH OF pENNSYLVANIA) IN THE AMOUNT OF $10.00, TO THE ADDRESS INDICATED ON THE FORM; OR
    • Complete an online application.  tHIS REQUIRES A CREDIT CARD.  yOU WILL BE ABLE TO PRINT THE CLEARANCE IMMEDIATELY.
  • FBI fingerprint                                                                                   
    • a NEW CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK PROCESS HAS BEEN IN EFFECT SINCE aPRIL 1, 2007.  aLL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A current FBI Fingerprint check.  Information is available at www.pa.cogentid.com
    • fingerprints are being taken at various sites in pennsylvania
